The medical team of CMED is formed by a multidisciplinary group of medical professionals related to the digestive system and with the diagnosis of their diseases.
Gastroenterologists, children's digestives, general and digestive surgeons, specialists in endoscopy and functional digestive tests, radiologists and psychologists. All work together to give a service and a personalized treatment to our patients.

She is a general and digestive system surgeon. Dr. Villar Riu has been part of Dr. Guerra team since 2001, and she has focused her efforts on abdominal wall and thyroid surgery, which are minimally invasive procedures that also reduce the length of hospital stay.

General and Digestive Sytem Surgery faces the constant challenge of providing the earliest possible diagnosis, in order to carry out highly decisive procedures that cause the least harm to patients.
The time of great surgeons and great surgical cuts has now passed to give way to a new age in which recovery time is minimised and surgical aggression is reduced with optimal long-term results.
What do you like the most about this career? What about CMED?
Working with patients daily is the aspect I enjoy the most about my career: being able to help them thanks to my knowledge, "research" activities associated with diagnostic processes, and the creative process that brings together surgery science and artistry.
CMED combines these aspects to perfection by offering the possibility of accessing a multidisciplinary team and state-of-the-art diagnostic technologies used by great hospitals within a single centre, while enjoying the proximity and individual monitoring that characterises speciality centres.
