Who We Are?
The medical team of CMED is formed by a multidisciplinary group of medical professionals related to the digestive system and with the diagnosis of their diseases.
Gastroenterologists, children's digestives, general and digestive surgeons, specialists in endoscopy and functional digestive tests, radiologists and psychologists. All work together to give a service and a personalized treatment to our patients.

He is a general and digestive system surgeon. Dr. Del Castillo DÃez has a working relationship with CMED with regard to the laparoscopic surgery approach for the treatment of morbid obesity. In 2010, he became a member of the Spanish Society of Obesity Surgery (SECO, by its Spanish acronym).

What is your opinion about the current state of this medical speciality? What about its future?
While integrating the latest technological advancements in diagnosis and treatment, we cannot lose sight of the perspective provided by direct contact with patients during consultations and by their specific needs. Indeed, the perfect fusion of these two realities is the way forward for medicine and surgery.
What do you like the most about this career? What about CMED?
Helping patients to overcome traumatic situations, while accompanying them throughout the therapeutic process, clarifying their doubts and solving their conditions, within our capacity, as well as sharing the joy of healing and improvement, is the aspect I love the most about my career
